And now… thanks to a hot mic moment at this past Tuesday’s meeting courtesy of Mayor Brian Stack, Stack’s mask just slipped.

As the meeting wrapped up and people were heading out, Brian Stack didn’t realize the microphone was still on and that the cameras were still recording even though we were probably 100 feet away from him.

Stack’s voice came through loud and clear, hissing with bitterness and fear, as he muttered to Union City Police Captain Bergbauer:
“Blaettler has been behind him since day one.”

He was referring to me — Leroy Truth — the investigative journalist who has exposed every rotten crack in Stacks Corrupt political empire.

Let that sink in. Brian Stack, the so-called powerful political boss of Hudson County, just accidentally admitted on record that he’s been obsessed with trying to find out who’s “behind” me — as if I’m some operation being run by someone else. It’s pathetic. It’s paranoid.

No one within Union City asked me to investigate Stack initially. I initially went to Union City, New Jersey City Hall to do a simple first amendment audit of Union City, New Jersey City Hall as a favor to another activist because he didn’t have a ride.

My plan was one and done. See how they do at Union City City Hall, report what transpired transparently on my YouTube channel and move on to the next story. And the next city.

But now? After Stack dragged him into this hot mic humiliation?
Joe Blaettler had something to say — and it is absolutely SCORCHING.

Q. At the Tuesday night Union City, New Jersey Board of Commissioners meeting Mayor Brian Stack was caught on a hot mic stating,  “Blaettler has been behind him since day one.” referring to me, Leroy Truth.

I reached out to Joe for a comment. It should be noted that prior to this comment I had reached out to Joe many times. He has always declined to comment and asked that I not involve him. 

Below is Joe Blaettler’s response.

JOE BLAETTLER:
“I have been living rent free in Brian’s feeble mind for the last 15 years. As time goes on, Brian Stack has become more and more delusional and paranoid; he needs to seek professional mental health assistance.

At one point, I actually felt sorry for him. When the famous Oriqueda Sanchez tape came out, Brian was so desperate that he had the former Chief of Police call me and ask if I could convince the people who posted it to take it down. Feeling sorry for Brian, I made some calls. The recording came down — but by then, it had gone viral.

If Brian wants to deny this, I have the proof — and I will release it.

When Leroy first came on the scene, Brian asked Hudson County Executive Craig Guy to reach out to me for a private meeting. That meeting took place on March 25, 2024, at the Randolph Diner in Morris County. We spoke for over an hour. The entire meeting was focused on whether I could convince Leroy to stop investigating Stack.

I have never met Leroy Truth in person. I have no control over him. I don’t know where he came from. But if Brian wants to deny that meeting, I have proof it happened.

Since I was announced as campaign chair for Tony Hector and Frank Alonso, Brian has become completely unhinged. He’s threatened people not to get involved, pressured media outlets to refuse our ads, and tried to choke off every avenue for our campaign.

So now, we have no choice but to work directly with Leroy Truth. He’s the only one brave enough to report what the others are too afraid to touch.

Brian Stack, behind all the press releases, all the staged photo ops, and all the crooked favors, is just a bully, a thug, and a political party boss who demands absolute control.

Win or lose, we’re not backing down. And as for what’s really inside of you, Brian?
Nothing but evil.”
